Defining Your Objectives

This section serves as an introduction to the client and outlines the objectives that you address in your design process. Make it universal for all your clients, so you don’t need to rewrite it every time.

Sample introductions

Read the three samples, then write an introduction in your own words.

Sample #1

Every organization has a unique objective that drives their decisions. In order for the public to be aware and appreciate what the organization is offering, it is very important that the project objectives are made clear at the beginning of the design process. The designer and client shall work in collaboration to ensure that all materials designed support these objectives.

Sample #2

Your organization has its own unique goal that guides their decisions. To help the public understand and value what the organization offers, it’s crucial to clearly define the project objectives at the start of the design process. The designer and client should work together to make sure all the design materials align with and support these goals.

Sample #3

We are enthusiastic about bringing your vision to life and effectively communicating your brand’s message through thoughtful, impactful design. This proposal outlines the project scope, objectives, timeline, and deliverables to ensure alignment in our approach and shared goals. Our objective is to deliver designs that not only meet your expectations but also resonate with your target audience, strengthening your brand’s presence and supporting your business objectives. We look forward to working together to ensure the success of this project.

Action

  • Write your own introduction for your proposal. Place it at the beginning of your proposal (on your letterhead).
  • Make it universal so that you do not need to rewrite it every time for a new client.
